Introduced under the Bus Services Enhancement Programme (BSEP), City Direct Bus Services are express bus services that operate between various residential estates and the Central Business District during weekday peak hours. 

There are currently 17 city direct bus services operating during weekdays peak hours. 5 have been withdrawn due to rail network duplication.
